Animals will do this to show domination and that is important in the animal world. Get the two castrated if you haven't already and just let them do what comes naturally. It is important for animals to know where they stand in the hierarchy.

Sounds like the new cat wants to be the dominate cat in the house.
We have two female sisters that we got at the same time....6 years ago...they are the same age, but the smallest one from time to time will jump on her sisters back and grab her by the scruff of the neck as they she's trying to mate with her.
My Vet said it's the smallest cats way of trying to show she's dominate...it has nothing to do with trying to mate.

You're older cat will probably let the new family member know that he's not going to be dominated sooner or later...in the mean time when you see it happening clap your hands and say "NO" very loudly and firmly...this should get the younger cat to stop this unwanted behavior.

Good Luck

This is not a big problem. They do this all the time. Quasi sexual behavior is also used to show dominance. New cat wants to be top cat. This is sort of an intra-cat problem and mostly they work it out amongst themselves.
Unless New Cat is keeping Old cat from the litter box or food, I would just leave them alone. If old cat doesn't like it, he always has the option of smacking New cat in the chops.

Next time you catch him doing that, walk up quietly behind him and take him by the scruff of the neck, hold him on the floor and make him lay there until he calms down. You may have to hold his back legs still too. This shows him that you are the "leader" and that type of behavior will not be tolerated. Reinforce this as many times as you need to. Cats are smart and can be trained in this way, just as dogs can. Animals establish a pecking order in their home, but you as the owner need to be part of that pecking order if it becomes apparent that a younger or weaker animal is going to be bullied.

Good luck!

Homosexual urges in cats is more common than many people think. Regardless on the owner's moral standards, cats don't care. Cat's have their own standards. Outside of this particular subject, we know this to be true anyways.
Get your new cat neutered an he may be more content with a platonic relationship.

Follow these steps...
1. open cage door
2. put cat in cage
3. close cage door
4. pick up cage and shake it (2-4 minutes is normally long enough but use your own disgression)
5. release cat from cage
If problems continue repeat as many times as necessary

Not a whole lot that you can do. My oldest male cat gets frisky with pillows, blankets, or stuffed animals laying around and he's been "fixed" since he was a kitten (12 years ago?).

The new cat is trying to show that he is dominant over the other cat. They will work it out, I'm sure, on their own, without human interference.

Don't worry, they sometimes do that. You can yell "No!", or just ignore it. The other cat will handle it.
