No not unless she has got three points already.
If you have been driving for less than two years and you get a total of six points on your licence you are off the road. You have re-apply for a provisional and retake your theory and driving test again.
Her insurance will go through the roof, though she still must tell the insurance company.

If a driver acquires six or more penalty points within two years of passing their first test, their licence is taken away, meaning they have to be caught speeding only twice before being disqualified. They must then obtain a provisional licence again, drive as a learner and pass both the theory and practical tests again.
So no she will not lose her licence. But she will face enormous insurance bills as she must declare the conviction to her insurance company.

It's reaching SIX points within TWO years of passing your FIRST driving test that will result in your licence being revoked.
So at the moment she is safe, antother 3 before the 2 years is up and she'll lose it.

no she has another 3 points to play with
the rules are : you can only get 6 points on your licence in the first 2 years of passing your test
If you get 6 points you LOSE your licence and have to retake your test again to get it back

if she gets six points within the first 2 years then she will lose her licence for a length of time depending on why she was banned and will be made to retake her test again once the ban is up.
She needs to be a bit more careful

She will lose her licence if she gets 6 points in the first 2 years... so she MUSTN'T get another ticket for anything!
She won't get ban after just 3....
Once the two years is up, she can accumilate up to 12, before a ban.

Check out the website given here. It looks as if she would lose her licence if she reaches 6 points within 2 years.

As you're on a UK & Ireland site, I doubt if the dubious contributions from the USA apply! Those who said 6 points within the 1st 2 years are correct. She'd better be careful!

no but her insurance can go up if she has another incident like a traffic accident or wreck ,,if she wasnt sited for an accident then the insurance wont go up ,,but if she gets enough points on her license in a year,, the insurance cancells then she could be driving illeagle ,without liability, and then if stopped will lose her license, and have to pay a reinstatement fee ,,so she should ask the DMV about safety classes that can remove three points from her license but it can only be done once i believe
