We knew because we had known one another for all our lives and although we went different directions in life, we ended up back to one another. We grew up together and we want to grow old together. We rarely argue, and when we do, we have it resolved within minutes. We finish one another's sentences, we know what the other is thinking, and we complete each other. It is a warm, all-encompassing feeling when you met your soulmate. It is unlike any other love you have ever known.

I dont think you can know that until after a very long time if they stick around. For a year and a half me and my ex seemed perfect for eachother and we kept insisting we were both eachother's soulmates, because it seemed so. Now we're broken up, so obviously we were wrong..at least for now, who knows. But at the start its just love, then I believe it evolves into being a soulmate if it lasts that long.

Good question. Sounds really corny and lame, but as soon as I met him, we became good friends first and then really good friends... and that was it... I was in love... it's funny actually because before I met him I often wondered what love was, how you know if you're in love, but once you know, you just know... and I used to hear that all the time and it would drive me nuts, but it's so very true... good luck

im still not 100 percent sure....but i just feel it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its different than any other. and im not a little kid, been in 2 4 yr relationships. and im up right now hella late balling my eyes out cuz he's not here right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i've been crying every night for the past 2 months....and smiling every day when i talk to him. i just know its right!.....unless i've absolutely gone completely fukcing insane!

i met him and a week or so into our new found "friendship" i knew that was who i was going to spend the rest of my life with.
