I lost my 1st wife in 1989 after being married almost 22 yrs. I never dreamed of ever marrying again, My 1st wife was my high school sweetheart. In 1990. I ask God, if you have someone else out there for me, then God you will have to show her to me because I am not going out to look for a wife, One day in church I saw a woman & God said there is your wife to be. I never knew one thing about her, I did not even know she was a widow, let along her name. But several in our church was hoping we would get together, But they kept that to themselves until they saw thing falling in line. We started dating, & we saw each other EVERY DAY, Now we have been married for 16 yrs on the 16th of this month, Not one time have we ever argue about any scriptures, We see the scriptures the same way. So my answer is YES.

Have you not heard the saying "Marriages are made in
heaven"?

The north Indians believe "Saat janam ka bandhan" (two
souls are paired for 7 lives). The Telugu people in
South India say "Yeededu janmala bandham" (not merely
7 but can be 7+7 or more for those who prefer).

It is a life time task. Almighty will not allow such a thing
without reason. If some marriages are not succesful,
it is due to their own Karma. "As you do it, so you reep it!".

One ancient Sanskrit Sloka says "Runaanu bandha rupena
pasu patni suta aalaya" (Your wife, your children, and your
pet are due to your past life Karma).

Almighty is infinite. How can the finite understand the
intentions of the infinite?

Does God put people together to be married? If that's your question, then yes. God plans out everything, and God puts people together for a purpose. Good question.

I would not think our Creator arranges marriages so to speak. And many
"instant" attractions we feel, are based on lower more physical types of spiritual things.
Energies at work. And though we may feel comfortable with someone. That doesn't mean we can live together.
Also, someone we have harmed may attract us to get even. So don't make so much out of this "Love at first sight"!
Look into their heart before you give yours.

Yes, I do. My husband and I are from different countries, different cultures and different religions, but we are very happy and love each other very much. We met under strange circumstances, so I have to believe God helped us.
