I know a lot of people out there think of it as cheating but trust me, I've lost weight and gained it back and I do the same routine daily nothing changes. I'm tired of how often I go fluctiate (sorry go up and down on the scales) so I am thinking about going through with it. I weigh roughly about 260 now and would love to drop 100-130 lbs. What are the after effects ?? Scary or would you recommend it ??

I've tried everytthing I can from getting a 4-week diet from a dietcian and buying everything on the diet, to writing down everything I eat in a book, to cutting down my portions that I eat. I eat fast food maybe once every two weeks. I'm at the gym 4-5 times a week. I don't know what else is left for me to try and I'm tired of going up and then going down and being this heavy, it's not attractive. But thanks I'll take what everyone says into consideration.

Eat healthy and not junk food only when u r hungry and that too not more than three times a day. No Solid/Liquid in between except water. Chew each morsel of food 32 times and see the beneficial effect it has on u. U get clear message to stop further eating.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

This will enable u to achieve the ideal weight in a reasonable time. It seems u do have the will power to do it. Please try only one tip "eating slow".

Wick, don't do it. There are complication possibilities that could do a lot more to you, harm wise, than just help you lose weight.
The digestive system uses chemicals that if they get anywhere else, can cause you serious harm. The fact that the stomach is stapled could lead to leakage that would possibly require surgery to fix. There are the possibility of blood clots that could go any where in your body causing any of a number of problems, some that could be fatal.
I am using Herbalife and their diet plan. Drink more water, make it drink #1 for yourself. Exercise more, and eat less. The whole I idea of the bypass surgery is to make you eat less. If you don't get it right, then that can also cause you problems. It is also a one way deal, no going back. While I also know at least one person who has done it, and good results have been seen, it is a scary risk that I would not take. Change your way of life, eat less, eat more often in small quantities, and watch the pounds melt away. If the surgery would make you eat less, then just do it, and avoid any complications.
