it is a beef bone soup.

It's actually very time consuming to make and to make well requires quite a bit of attention.

You get the bones, wash them and then boil them once. Then dump out the liquid. Wash the bones again and boil them again. This way you get this milkish white broth rendered from the bones. IT is chock full of calcium and very good for you. boiling the broth to get this white liquid takes anywhere from 6 hours plus.

Most seol-lang tang restaurants mix this white milk bone broth with a very tasty beef brisket broth and then serve it with yam noodles, scallions, slices of beef, egg pieces as garnish and with steaming hot rice. Kimchi, and the spicy radish is also served along side. salt and chili powder is also added if you so like.

very good for cold winter days, for hangovers, and just for getting your calcium. Enjoy.

I believe you're refering to seol-long-tang, their beef broth with chopped scallions.
