The condition you are describing sounds like livedo reticularis. It is a vascular reaction which, in most cases is normal. In rare patients its a sign of a collagen vascular disease, such as lupus or mixed connective tissue disease. Simple blood tests could screen for it (ANA test). Please go see your dermatologist to have this blood test done.
Good Luck!

Are you serious?
Go to the doctor as soon as possible, that could be very serious. You could have a blood clot or something wrong with an artery...
How old are you? If you're young, tell a parent and see the doctor. Either way, get medical help immediately

They are most likely cold and that is the blood rushing to them to warm them up. I really don't know how you can make that stop.

It happens to me too. It's because you're cold. You're legs only get them because a towel doesn't cover your legs.
