As others have stated we can eat plants that come from the sea. If you are asking about sea animals the answer is that there is NO form of vegetarian that eats sea animals since they are in FACT animals! This topic comes up enough that I've grown to dislike it with a passion!!! Please hit the link on my sig that is listed below. It contains the *correct* term for those who eat fish.

A vegetarian can eat anything that they want. There are no vegetarian police that will come and arrest them if they stray.

However, a person could no longer correctly be labled as vegetarian if they ate seafood. A true vegetarian eats nothing from the animal kingdom, and this includes seafood.

They sure can! But they wouldn't be vegetarians anymore because vegetarians don't eat flesh and eating fish is eating flesh.

Hope this helps!

No. Generally Vegetarians do not eat Seafood. There are some, called "pesco's" that are fish-eating vegetarians, but this is not true vegetarianism. Vegetarians are different than Vegans, in that Vegans are very strict, and will not eat anything or wear anything that comes from an animal.

It depends on what degree of vegetarian you are. If you are vegan or hard core vegetarian, then no. If you like seafood, you can always be a pescovegetarian, which means you avoid all meat except fish.

standardly vegetarians dont eat meat of any kind, but I know
that some "vegetarians" just dont eat red meat...meaning they aren't really vegetarians.....they just dont eat red meat.

SO I guess the answer is NO!!

I live with two vegetarians and they eat no meat.....or
fake meat (which isnt really that bad) and I'm no vegetarian
