My husband has a bar code in his left arm with his social security number. When he was young and stupid! he got so drunk that he ended up in the hospital, they needed his ss and nobody knew it! however one of his friend told the doctors about his tattoo and that is how they found out his allergies and medical history!, just a tip to consider including in your barcode!

if you want an actual barcode, take the barcode off something you really love or something that's got special meaning to you.
if you don't want to always know that you could run your tat over a scanner thingy and get $2.99 to show up, have your tattoo artist draw one up for you, he/she should be able to do that.

its a trendy tat now and alot of people have bar codes on the back of thier neck or somewere else on thier body so if you dont want a trendy tat i wouldnt get this...If you still do want the tat i would take it off of somthing you really like as others has said and i would change the numbers up for lets say your birthday or someones elses b-day SS # like someone else mentioned or any other numbers that mean somthing to YOU...

Don't get a damn barcode, who's property are you? Are you to be bought? That's the stupidest idea I've ever heard for a tattoo.

If you MUST do this just look at one that is on your next purchase. if if you want the tattoo artist to change the numbers they can do that, also they can blow up the bar code if you want if bigger. I have to say it though.... this has been played out

Go to the drug store and buy a box of condoms. Use that one as your pattern. That would be sweet.
