I'm trying to find out where my aunt is buried. She died before I was born and I'm trying to find out which Ukraine cemetery she's in.

As per Natalie P's suggestion, her name was Rozaliya Siganur (first name could have variations) and she died in either the Herson or Nikolaev Districts (not sure if it's "district" or "town" or "province") of Ukraine.

If you know the town, I would start with the Orthodox parishes in that town. They'd be more likely to give you quick turnaround on information than local regents would be. The second line would be to contact the town hall in the town where she lived. During the Communist era they kept meticulous records on every resident. They charge large fees, though, as soon as they see addresses from the West. If you have a family member still living in the region, you could get the information much more easily from the town hall.

You need to find out where she lived. People got buried according to where they lived. Also, find out what year did she die. Then call up the cemeteries in that region and ask if the person with this name was buried there that year. Unlike in the US, people don't move as much. They tend to live all their lives in the town where they were born.

Also, it is a tradition that people get buried in the same cemetery as their other deceased relatives. People get buried elsewhere only if there are serious reasons preventing them to follow the tradition. Finding out about other relatives might help.
