I was supost to graduate this year, but am short two credits. So would have to take one extra semester of 2 classes. Well, I still have this semester to finish up and I don't know if i'm gonna pass all of it. I was considering finishing up the classes I need in homeschooling like online or something. But I have a few questions...

If I ever decide to go to college, can I?
Can I get a diploma?
Can you do it online?

I had some more questions, but I can't remember em. If I remember i'll add em later.

ask your counselor if they have a distance learning program. If not, then you would have to find not only an accredited program, but one that is recognized by your school district, meaning they will accept your "homeschool" credits. (that is, in order to complete your public school transcript and receive a state issued diploma. I'm assuming that's what you are talking about doing)
Now, that may be different where you are, that's how it is where I live.
you could make up one credit in summer school? They may let you do two since you are so close to graduating, ask.
But, first, go to your counselor and ask her about correspondence work.
If none of those work for you, check Texas Tech. Their credits are accepted lots of places.
And as for your question about going on to college, yes. If you find a way to finish those two credits so they end up on your transcript and you receive a diploma, yes, that will work just fine, doesn't matter where you got those last two credits.
Of course, you also have entrance exams and you could always go for a GED, but try the other first.

also, if your counselor is of no help, check www.hslda.org and see what they have to say about your situation.

Check to homeschool laws in your state first. There may be online high school options where you live.
Google online high schools. There are options for you to finish out the few credits you need.
If your cards are played right, you should be able to finish your diploma through your current high school. If your current high school won't let you do that, I'd suggst you leave and go to a full time homeschool status. If you choose the online/distance high school option, you will be ablle to carry a diploma through them. Most of the accredited online high schools will honor course work form a traditional school and apply them to their diploma.

Yes, you can go to college. You can get a diploma if you go through an accredited program, such as Penn Foster or the American School of Correspondence. I personally prefer the American School's curriculum for high school. I believe they are changing to make student's able to submit tests online. With Penn Foster, you can submit most of your tests online.

You can look up the answers to these questions at the Home Schools Legal Defense Association here:
www.hslda.org/laws/default.asp
They have the site arranged according to each of the 50 states' laws concerning homeschooling, as well as College entrance requirements in many cases.
Good luck with your education!

You have received all the correct information so far...I just wanted to add that there are colleges out there that don't require a high school diploma or even a GED.

Here is what MIT says

Acutally you do not need a high school diploma to go to college, But it may increase anual income.

If you want, you can finish, retake, or start a course through a distance learning program.

I am doing American School of Corespondence. But, you can also do it through keystone.

Can you do summer school through your school/district? You'd be guaranteed to have your diploma then. If you're interested in online (there are tons of online programs), you'd have to find out if they will accept the credits you already have.

And yes, you can go to college.
