I bet she would like cheesy, gooey Cheese Ravioli!
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
Coarse salt and ground pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme or oregano
1 can (28 ounces) whole tomatoes
1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
2 pounds store-bought ravioli
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1. Preheat oven to 425°. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and season with salt and pepper; cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5 minutes. Add thyme and tomatoes. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, breaking up tomatoes with spoon, until sauce is thickened and reduced to about 5 1/2 cups, 20 to 25 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, cook ravioli in a large pot of boiling salted water just until they float to the top (pasta will continue to cook in oven). Drain pasta; return to pot.
3. Toss sauce with pasta. Pour pasta into a large gratin dish or 9-by-13-inch baking dish, and sprinkle with cheeses. Bake until golden, 20 to 25 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.

You can cut some chicken breast up into cubes. cook it in a lil bit of oil. Drain the oil off the chicken, defrost some broccoli (you can use fresh if you want but frozen is easier) make the mac n cheese ,mix all these thing together and you have a very tasty meal. Trust me the kids go wild for this stuff!!!

How about Fettuccine Alfredo with a green vegetable and a meat like pork chops or chicken breasts? Fettuccine Alfredo is macaroni and cheese for adults, after all. Tell her she is a big girl now and can eat grown-up macaroni and cheese. I'm a teacher. Sometimes you have to use psychology with kids. Good luck.

Try going to allrecipes.com. I use it all the time for putting together menus for dinner parties, BUNKO gatherings, etc. You can search by just about anything, and everything I've ever made has been fantastic!
One thing my kids LOVED when they were little was english muffin pizzas. They could make 'em themselves. You get to pick out the toppings...there is even turkey pepperoni that isn't too bad.

one of the things i like to do to get kids interested in eating good meals is to let them help make it. Anything that they can stir or pour sauce onto is great. You can also do a different take on mac and cheese, like make the pasta and add a different sauce. Then name the dish after them.
