Bacterial vaginosis (BV) only affects females. So you can't pass it to a guy and have him pass it back to you. You CAN however pass a yeast infection or trichomoniasis back and forth, but NOT BV.
A lot of women get BV after having sex. Bacteria can get in the vagina during sex and can cause a women to develop BV. I've personally had BV twice. Both times were after I had sex. I took my medication and it was cured.
Make sure you finish all your medication and don't have sex until you've done that. You can have sex while you have BV but it can irritate the vagina even more and make it very uncomfortable (not to mention it smells pretty bad). Good luck!

Hi. friend, I donot know how old are you, married or having a relation -ship. Sex is Gods gift and can not be calculated by time. It is the compatability of both the partners that matters most. Each partner feels other's rythim and tries to end together. Time actually does not matter if you two are really love each other. The love factor is evaporating from life and that is the reason for all these calculations.

Yes, it is possible for him to reinfect you, at least this is what I was told by a doctor. You should refrain from sexual contact until you are finished with your meds.
Why are you having unprotected sex? Not a very wise choice, especially that you mention multiple partners. Get yourself some condoms, and most importantly USE THEM.

It depends , did you have sex with him prior to taking antibiotics? If you did then yes , It can take up to 48hours for antibiotics to start working . For now just dont have sex until both of you have been seen by a physician.

I had it and the doctor said it was safe to have sex. It might be a little smelly, but it was safe. She also reminded me to take all of my meds.
