I had a problem when I had to help out in getting garlands in a recent birthday party as the theme was "Hawaiian". Instead of having to spend more $ with buying real flowers, we created garlands made out of creap papers - which comes in various colours.

I think that sounds great and I would love to get one like that.

I'm not sure I understand your question. But if it was a party that a friend of mine was throwing I wouldn't mind at all that the garlands were paper and not real flowers. (usually we get the plastic kinds for parties.) The only time I would be disappointed if I didn’t get real flower garlands is if I went to Hawaii.

I'm not sure I understand your question either. Are you asking if crepe paper flowers would be all right? If so, i'd have to say no. The colors run like ceazy if the paper gets wet.
