Smoking light or ultra-light cigarettes in hopes of reducing your risk of lung cancer actually does nothing for your health. A new study conducted by the University of Minnesota Cancer Center found that ultra-light and light cigarettes are just as unhealthy as regular smokes.

NO - smoking is bad and it is addictive no matter what cigarette you smoke.

I recently quit smoking for the third time in my life and I smoked natural (meaning no additives like ammonia to burn etc.) and the ultra light brand.

Before that, I used to smoke strong cigarettes like Camel and Malboro when I quite the first time.

The point is stopping was equally hard and the effects of smoking these cigarettes were exactly the same.

Light or Strong nicotine will still enter your body and affect your lungs, heart and brain.

The light refers to the chemical compounds added to the tobacco, not the color of it. There are no lights and darks, just lights and regulars. Do you really smoke them, sounds like you are a curious want to be smoker or a beginner at it.

Both are equally lethal and will kill you in the long run. If you want to know more about this go to google and type lung carcinoma.
