The only thing that is 100% safe or effective in preventing pregnancy and STDs is abstinence.

Condoms help and reduce the risk or getting an STD or a woman pregnant but it is not 100%!

Check out this link for more information about the effectiveness of condom use and pregnancy:

The only guarentee that a woman won't get pregnant is abstaining from sex. Any penial to vaginal sex can cause a pregnancy.

Condoms are not an exact science. I have a 16 year old as proof of that. LOL

Problems after first time sex:

Communication
Embarrassment
Fears

Try to keep the communication lines open. Be willing to discuss feelings, fears and thoughts about what took place between you and your partner. Know that not everyone 'can' discuss how they feel right away and be willing to give your partner the space and time to figure out their feelings. Keep the lines of communication open is my best answer to the troubles after first time sex.

I'm not young and I've been married a long time. Sex with love in an exclusive marriage is not over rated. It's the best kind. Waiting for marriage should be rated higher. The two are not mutually exclusive. Before marriage, virginity should be rated highly. After marriage, sex should be rated highly when you are in a committed loving relationship. Sex is not just sex. There is sex and then there is sex with a higher purpose and meaning. I don't like that virginity is under rated. I think young people should only know their marriage partner, but I'm a dinosaur. Meaningless sex before marriage is meaningless and since people are into meaningless, virginity is underrated and sex is overrated at that point in time.

It is as easy as ABC. ie abstinance, Be faithful ( no cheating) or Condoms. In this order the safest is the first: Abstinance and the last is condom hence condoms are no safe.

As far as sex is concerned, the problems depend on a person. example, pregnancy, being horny, abortions, contracting AIDS etc. while others will love having sex habitually .

If you read some of the questions here, you will see that there are many of unexpected pregnancies from people who thought they were safe. No, it is not 100% safe. Condom or no condom, you are taking a risk.

Nothing is 100% safe. If you don't want to fall pregnant, make sure you are not ovulating and wear a condom.
It might be a bit tight at first, and you may bleed slightly - but afterwards it is fine. Don't feel guilty about it - if you do, then don't do it.

condoms r not 100% fool-proof. the problem would be that ur partner would get pregnant or u might contract STDs (sexually transmitted disease)
