Animals are made up of flesh which feel pain. They have a nervous system. And they have a consciousness to know their life and know they are being killed and how. That is really the reason we should take the high road and not eat meat. I truly believe that veggie eating is a little way that we can change this life of sin. I do believe that we are imprisoned and bound by our evil nature, which is only human. I seek to try to break the chains.
Take care,
caroline

Another meat eater trying to convince us...

A better question would be: Who said we should eat meat?

After all human bodies are meat too and we don't eat each other.

God says we are not supposed to abuse animals like they are abused in slaughter houses. It is not about eating meat, it is about the abuse that is going on.

I guess we should eat humans also since we are made of meat. lol

Humans are also made of meat, but that doesn't mean we're meant to be eaten.

In that case, maybe you are looking for someone to eat you?

You have to ask yourself first if meat was ever meant to be eaten.

Most vegetarians that I know don't have a moral problem with eating meat itself, it's the bovine steroids, chemicals and other cr@p that gets put into the meat along the way.

By the way, you do realise that YOU'RE made of meat...

Hmmm... interesting point. HUMANS are made of meat, so I'm assuming you think we should eat each other, too?
