I was using this firming lotion while I had what appeared to be pimples on my butt cheeks- I'm not sure if it was the lotion or something else, what could cause that? I normally don't get pimples there.

Well I thought perhaps it might help firm that area. I read some people say they saw a difference and it wasn't very expensive.

Pimples are usually caused by clogged pores and if this is a new product that you just started using there is a possibility that you have had an allergic reaction. When my skin is irritated I usually splash milk on the area to calm my skin.
Maybe you should try that.

People do get pimples on their butt so it might be pimples. It could be a rash. Depending on the exact look of the pimples or dimples; it could be cellulite or it could even be boils which would indicate and infectrion in your body. Go see a doctor. Best wishes.

It could be irritation from your panties or pants rubbing "the wrong way". Wear cotton panties because they allow proper air flow. Especially in the winter we tend to dress in layers, this builds up heat and can possible cause heat rashes in any area where there is friction. You walk half the day, and sit the other half..so there is definitely friction there. Try some A&D ointment. ( I know its baby rash ointment, but it really works)

It may be caused from blocked pores. Scrub the area really well in the shower every day.

And by the way, firming creams really do work!

bacteria, oil, moisture & dirt are the usual culprits. Try a little antibotic cream to remove the bacteria and maybe a little powder to keep the moisture down.

Could just be....pimples. Or a rash because you are allergic to the lotion.
