Thanks Julie but everyone is pitching in on Taxis here...also, the girls are going out afterwards which is another reason they are getting taxis...don't assume everyone wants to be unsafe my dear. This was already planned a looooong time ago. You're not the only one who has to visit the cemetary.

Champagne Punch, courtesy of a friend
Several bottles of champagne, any variety really, but pink champagne works really nicely.
Rainbow sherbet
Large bowl
Ladle

Sherbet in bowl.
Champagne over sherbet.
Fizz, mix a little, scoop into glasses. Try to get sherbet lumps into glasses as well.
Sip (or gulp).
Be Happy.

How about homemade sangria?

SANGRIA

1 orange
1 lime
2 plums
1 bottle of a light and fruity red such as Beaujolais or Bardolino.
¼ cup sugar
6 oz seltzer
Ice as needed

Slice the fruit and then mash it on the bottom of a pitcher. Add the wine and sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the seltzer and ice cubes. Use white wine if you prefer but again, something light and fruity.

You can try:

1 can frozen margarita mix
1 can frozen pink lemonade
1 can frozen orange juice
2 bottles cold champagne
1 bottle flavored sparkling water

Play with this mix to match your taste buds. Also, be sure and make a nice ice ring!

My personal classic favorite is:

Equal parts Hawaiian punch and champagne
Scoops of raspberry sherbert (or sorbet)

Easy, pretty and sooooo goood!

No referrals, just one word of advice - don't serve your friends alcohol.

It's cool, until someone leaves the party buzzed, gets behind the wheel and kills themselves or someone else. And that DOES happen. ALOT.

Kill the alcohol and keep your friends, especially for such a happy occasion as this! (That will get me alot of thumbs down I'm sure, but been there done that and now visit the cemetary plot is all I'm going to say about THAT.)
