Why high protein diet? You dont need as much protein as you think you do. Anyway, whole grains, beans, legumes, nuts are all wonderful sources. If you eat eggs and cheese, those are also loaded with protein.

Seitan is the most protein dense (per gram) food there is, more than soy, more than eggs, more than any meat.

Unless you eat a lot of processed stuff, or fruit, you're going to get more than enough protein on a vegetarian diet.

If you want to obtain a high percentage of your calories from protein, then beans, pulses and nuts are good. Surprisingly, lettuce because it is so low in calories has a high protein/calorie ratio. So if you build yourself a 1 pound salad every day you'll get lots of protein.

you can start by adding 3 cups of soy milk a day
then add 3 handful of nuts or seeds a day
while eating what you normally eat, then you would get like

60g of protein from the 3 cups of soy milk
and appx 30 g of protein from the nuts or seeds

Anything soy based. Tofu is high in protein, soy powder is good for shakes. Peanut butter (or soy nut butter as a friend of mine does) is also good.

Hey I'm a vegetarian too. So I would say eggs, peanut butter, veggie burgers (or anything soy or tofu), cheese, cereals..and stuff like that. You could always check a website...just search for protein for vegetarians! : ) Later
