I am working on a phosphrous free and aluminium free baking powder because I am a dialysis patient. How much starch is normally added to baking powder?

Here's a normal recipe for baking powder:

1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

it looks like about 25% or a quarter of the baking powder consists of starch. :)

Corn starch is added to make measurements similar, but not very much.
Are you working with baking soda and cream of tartar?
That would be the single acting baking powder, without the sodium aluminum phosphate.

All of my references for baking powder list between 78 and 129 calories per 100 grams based on starch content.
With water, it is 5 grams per teaspoon.
