i was looking at the benadryl website for umm absolutely no reason and saw:

i don't take medicine often but what other commonly used medicines are non vegan???

many pills contain gelatin, particularly "gel-caps", but also some others that you might not suspect. I had an entire cabinet of pills that I gave to my non-veg friends when I discovered this--including normal tylenol tablets and multivitamins!
check all labels before buying.

All medicines were at one point tested on animals, so I don't think any are truly 100% vegan, depends on how you define it though.
Insulin used to be derived from animals' pancreases, and some still is today, but for the most part insulin is now from genetically engineered bacteria.[1]
Premarin is derived from mares[2].
Heparin is derived from animal tissues[3].
There are probably a host of others, anything with porcine or bovine on the label will be from animal sources. The label of any medication should give the details on whether or not it is derived from animals.

anything with a gelcap or liqui-gel is made with animal by-products.

any gell kind of aspirin isnt because the coating has gelatin in it

i dunno but vegans are soooo healthy they don't need any benadryl
