Try hoummus or guacamole and fresh vegetables or a roast potato with homemade baked beans (tinned often have too much sugar - not good in your situation), marinated grilled tofu with a salad and brown rice, lentil pattie mashed onto a corn tortilla and add salad and tahini then roll up, a handful of raw nuts and seeds, such as sunflower or pumpkin (but not peanuts). It's a start!

I dont eat any yeast, and am allergic to wheat, so bread is out of the question anyway. I use Tinkyada brand rice pasta, and mochie which is a yeast free rice cake (oriental markets) There are yeast free breads and rolls available at most health food stores. You could have a twice baked potato (just bake the potato, scoop out the filling leaving a little in the skin for a shell, and mash the rest with some cheese, onions, veggies, beans, etc, scoop back into the shells and bake until the cheese melts.

Some brands of soy yogurt have the probiotic lactobacillus acidophilus that help combat your problem, otherwise, check in at your health food store for another vegan source... Probiotics are great at combating this problem.
Avoiding dietary yeast will not solve your problem.
Yeast in bread and whatnot is of the Sacromyces variety, and the battle you are fighting is of the Candida variety.
Take some probiotics... You will be fine hon.

I wasn't aware that eating yeast had any effect on that kind of thing...
Anyway, well, bread and beer are about the only things with yeast in them, so anything but those, I guess.

Potatoes are good. As are bananas. have you tried raw (or cooked I suppose) mushrooms. All very tasty, low in calories and tummy friendly.
