Go to see your doc. This is serious when it lasts this long. It sounds as if you need antibiotics.
I have suffered from both and know the damage they can do. If you have green and your glands are swollen and your ear is blocked go see him.
Forget work if you can. You will be no good to anyone until you get help.
Time will not make it better. Sometimes we get a bug that really latches on and a second round is necessary. Did you do the antibiotics earlier? Did you take them to the end of the prescription?
If you get another prescription take them to the end and take it easy. I do not know if you smoke, that can weaken one so that lung problems are harder to shake.
For your swollen neck, pull your hair back and, with a small amount of cream, massage your neck muscle downwards. It might hurt with the bumps of the glands so go easy. This will help soften up your neck and get some of the toxins moving.
Do the old steam thing. Boiling water in a bowl with a towel over your head to hold in the steam. Breathe in as deeply as possible.
When you are over this, as you will be, I would advise you start with some yoga paying special attention to the deep breathing. This is a wonderful way to gently heal your lungs and then start building them stronger. It really works and is now part of treatment for emphysema.
Your body is telling you something. Listen to it, obey it and you will be fine once the weather turns warm.

I once suffered from Chronic Bronchitis. I would suffer sometimes 3 to 4 times per year! Usually when there was a major change in the pressure outside (I live in the north, and the temperature spikes and dips do wonders to chronic sufferers of bronchitis!). Each time I would get horrible hacking coughs, hoarking up green phlegm..it was so frustrating!
The key to getting rid of your bronchitis is to find a way to completely eliminate the germs that are causing all the phlegm and irritation leading to your hoarking cough and heavy breathing. Keep reading to learn how to do kill these germs!!
This page it will change your life and make you feel 100% better within just 24 hours!

You need to go back to a Dr. and quick, you have a very serious infection going on. It sounds like you have more than bronchitis, although it probably isn't pneumonia, if you had that, you would have problems breathing. It sounds like your bronchial tubes infected or your sinus' are. Anytime your phlegm is green it is bad. Remember this, clear is ok, yellow is infection, and green is much worse infection.

As a doctor who did a good portion of my medical training in NHS hospitals (Norwich and Canterbury), I would say that, given a choice, you should ALWAYS see a private doctor over the NHS doc.
At least for anything more serious than a hangnail.

I would just go back to your doctor,
Did you get any antibiotics for this, and have you finihed the course?
Have you tried menthal crystals in your bath, as they are really good, you only need a couple of crystals as they are very strong, and they do help.
You can buy them at most chemists.
If you are coughing up green phelm it means you have a infection, and you really do need to go back to your doctors. Bronchitis can take a while to clear up.
