I was wondering if a shot of rocephin 500mg would get rid of chlamydia.

The doc gave me a shot of rocephin,just wondering if that would work?

tetracyclin, erthyromicin, azithromycin are usually given for chlamydia. Why do you want to take rocephin?

You should also be on Azithromycin or Doxyclycline...both as single doses, along with the injection of Rocephin. Rocephin is a third generation of the cephalosporins. He should have you come back for "a test of cure"..to see if the drug worked.
