Just wondering if any Locals or people that have been there before have any favorite places to eat in Chicago. I'll be going there next week for about four days. THanks :)

A great spot for breakfast is the coffee shop in the Inn of Chicago. Just great!
For lunch, try either Billy Goat tavern or Boston Blackie's
Dinnertime you should go to either Harry Caray's or Rosebud's.
In the evening, there are many restaurants on Rush Street.
For some fun, take the train to Wrigleyville (by Wrigley Field) and try some of the local spots out there. The Cubs won't be in town, so the crowds won't be there...

If you're staying downtown, my favorite breakfast place is The Bongo Room (Roosevelt & Wabash). The pancakes are frighteningly good. Don't get a full stack, though -- 1 or 2 will do ya.
For lunch & dinner, I recommend leaving downtown to find some hidden gems. In Bucktown/Wicker Park you can find great Mexican food at Las Palmas, sushi at Mirai, any other Asian food at Zen Noodles, and BBQ at Smoke Daddy's. If you want Italian, head to the intersection of Taylor & Loomis and take your pick. The un-touristed southside neighborhood of Hyde Park has some great little places, including Dixie Kitchen (Cajun / soulfood) and Calypso (yummy Caribbean food) right next door to each other.

I agree, the Original Pancake House is the best- but if you are near downtown, there is a great (busy!) location on Cedar just east of Rush- right off the strip of shopping and clubbing. For a quick lunch bite, go to Corner Bakery- the BEST tomato soup in the world! Locations all over downtown. For dinner, there are so many great places throughout the city- I like Giordano's for deep dish pizza, for a date or just for fun, Grand Lux Cafe is AMAZING! Owned by Cheesecake Factory, but way better, everything is delicious!

Ed Debevic's is good for dinner I've eaten there before, Rainforest Cafe is good too, along with the Hard Rock Cafe. White Palace on the south side by Roosevelt and Canal streets has some good food especially for breakfast, and Huck Finn's is another good place to eat at too.

There is nothing like a thick Chicago Style Pizza and Pizzeria Uno is the BEST in the city. It is perfect for an afternoon lunch spot or a happy hour dinner to have pizza and beer. Who could resist?

For breakfast, I love to go to Wilmette to the Walker Bros. Original Pancake House. Sometimes there's a line but it's worth it! I put their website below. You will be hungry by the time you read their menu!
