It really isn't a question of what's dangerous as much a question of HOW MUCH is dangerous. A healthy meal plan for people with diabetes is the same as that for everyone – low in fat (especially saturated and trans fat), moderate in salt and sugar, with meals based on whole grain foods, vegetables and fruit. However, if eaten as part of a healthy meal plan, or combined with exercise, sweets and desserts can be eaten by people with diabetes. They are no more “off limits” to people with diabetes, than they are to people without diabetes. You can get alot of useful information on nutrition and diabetes at the ADA website : http://www.diabetes.org/nutrition-and-recipes/nutrition/overview.jsp Hope this helps!

Peas, Potatoes, Corn
These are the ones my nutritionist told me to really watch. Someone else said it's different with every diabetic and that's true. The simplest way explained to me is to have no more than 1 serving of each of the 5 food groups on your plate. Try not to skip a food group. Never go more than 4 hours without eating and every 2 is ideal. If you are still hungry after a meal and must have more than fill up on meat and veggies except for the 3 main ones Peas, Potatoes, Corn. Substitute anything with sugar with fake sugar. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. Yes flavored waters count as long as they have artificial sweetner Read labels (which was a big prob for me but I learned)
15g of Total Carbs=2 carbs. Only eat 2 carb at any mealtime and snacktime. Test 2 hours after you eat should be less than 120. First thing in the morning should be less than 100. Excercise even if it's just a fifteen minute walk anything helps. Remember a diabetics life is a balance. A balance of food look at your plate does it look heavier on one side if so your proportions are probably off. Balance of diet and excercise. It's not as hard as one would think it just takes some conscious thinking. As with the prior answer you really need to see a Dr and get his/her advice.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Fast food definitely isn't the best thing. She should start having more appointments now that she is pretty far along - four sounds about right up until this point. If she is diabetic, it is dangerous for her and the baby if she doesn't take care of herself. She should definitely be tested and if she is diabetic they will put her on a strict diet - that does not include cheeseburgers and fries!!

With the newer types of insulin these days, diabetic diets aren't necessarily as restrictive as they used to be. Read here https://tr.im/diabetesrelief
As with any medicine or diet change, you should discuss it with your doctor. Fruits, both fresh and dried, have a natural sugar in them that will raise blood sugar levels, so be careful about eating too much. Not sure about the nuts. Moderation is always the key. I've been diabetic for 18 years and just recently changed insulin types. I love it because it gives me more freedom in when and what I eat.

Unfortunately, it takes a little trial and error to see how different foods effect your body. You may not be able to eat potatoes, but a cup of rice is okay. Just as bananas may not work, but you can eat strawberries. I would suggest tracking everything you eat, as well as blood sugar levels to see how your body reacts.
