Drug stores have over the counter cholesterol test kits; how reliable they are is something you will have to do research.
Check rotary organizations for multiphasic programs usually offered in spring and fall (check hospital sponsored too). These usually run under $50.

Some towns offers or Dr Office offer a Health Day and they will do all the blood work for nothing....... They do it every 6 months in Kansas Good Luck!

some pharmacys are doing it now for cheaper than a dr. visit. I would call around to some larger pharmacys and see if they have that service. When i had mine done at the dr. office ( in kansas) it was 80 for the lab work and 59 for the office visit.
