you can't buy them, you have to pick your own. They can come
in singles, but I have heard of bunches (like grapes) look for them
down South, anytime of the year. For some reason, you have better
luck finding them if you've pigging out on cheese.

just go to your local grocer - they keep the dingleberries in the stockroom. ask for the store manager and tell him you want some of their special dingleberry reserve. i'm sure the stockclerks will have some for you...

I think you've either misread your recipie, or someone's playing a joke on you. A dingleberry isn't a fruit, it's a slang term for a piece of feces stuck to the hairs around the anus.
