Has anyone ever tried basashi? Is it served in the States?

Ever tried torisahshi? Not me, it would have taken a little more biru than I could stomach to eat THAT!

Yes, I like basashi. There are Americans who do eat horse, but I don't think raw. Torisashi I will pass on, but I have had suzume yakitori which is not very pleasant in appearance. I have heard of people eating raw boar, but that just scares me.

I've been quite a few places and not many places serve horse in the states...You might find it a a few places but its not common practice
