My girlfriend and I have been together for almost 2 years. We were apart for about month until a week and half ago because of relationship communication problems ect. So no sex for a month and then just 3 days later after making up and having sex all weekend I start noticing a redness on the base of my penis. I also did the oral thing during sex as well that weekend and noticed about the same time with my penis redness my beard/go-tee area started breaking out with little blisters probably 20-30 or more. So 3 days after sex all these crazy things started. Could symtpoms have started that fast if it were herpes? I have been under stress do to the relationship problems we had previously and my immunity may have been down too. I have never seen anything on her when I was down there. I am also affraid possibly she may not have been faithful during our time apart and could have contracted it and givin it to me. She not that type of person although an ex boyfriend she claims is a loser and would never go back to did show up when she started backing away a month ago. If that did happen could she have past it to me and I got it that fast within days litterlally? I don't like thinking like that and it's probably not the truth anyway. She also went on her cycle a week later (now Actually). Could that cause things to happen as well. I am going to a family doctor on Wed. and hopefullly I will get some answers.

If this is an STD how do I break the news.?

Why did this STD (if it is one) explode out of no where and right after we had sex after being with her for a year and a half. Something just doesn't sound right here or is it just me?

Is it just a coincidence or what especially after being apart for a month or am I just being paranoid?

Thanks so much in advance.

Just come out and tell her that you may have an STD from her and you both need to go get tested ASAP.

Could be herpes. In defense of your girl friend most cases are transferred from felacio. Herpes of the mouth can be transmitted from partner to partner that way. Many people don't know that. Herpes is really just a stigma, its not that bad. Most every one has gotten a cold sore so you can see why it is very common. Do go to the doctor to have it diagnosed. Did you know 1 in 4 people have herpes. It's more common than you realise.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed https://tr.im/TreatmentHERPES2015TnOz

Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams. This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

A first time herpes outbreak usually occurs within 10 days after you come in contact with it.........so either she just got it recently and gave it to you without knowing or she may have had it previously and was taking preventative treatment to prevent outbreaks .......however these treatments are not 100% effective....you can still spread herpes even when you're not experiencing an outbreak ...but to answer your question...yes...it can be passed on that quickly....sorry about this....here for more info call 1-888-426-9555..herpes hotline

You are so smart to have a doctor's appt all set up, already! Exactly what you need. IF the Dr. says you have Herpes, you need to tell your girlfriend. fast. Straight out is the way to ask her if she has it, she may not have it, or she may not KNOW she has it. Make sure SHE gets checked out before any more sex happens, and be SURE you've seen the Dr. first, and had the Dr. explain what you DO have to you. Sex if out until you figure out who has what. Herpes is no fun. You must tell if you have it, and once, you get it..........it stays with you. Listen to your dr, well.

Okay, relax, friend. It could be an STD, but it could also be that you had sex all weekend. Your friend is probably tired and had a lot of friction, okay? It happens. Give it a few days and rest it because that does happen. It's happened to me too. As for bumps on your face, I wouldn't worry about that. It could be regular irritation. Stress can do weird things to you, as well. Talk to her about it immediately, though.
