It is a series of movies that tell Bible stories acted out by vegetables. The two main characters are Bob (the Tomato) and Larry (cucumber). The shows do not promote vegetarianism, but God.

A tale or story told by vegetables. Veggie Tales is a movie series for children to teach them about God, and various stories of the bible and mannerisms of life. There's Bob the tomato, Larry the cucumber, Jr. the asparagus, and many other characters.

but not in the way you might think.
Veggie Tale(s) is a children's TV show that teaches family values.
It's basicly Christian Bible stories and small lessons in faith .
