I have it.Somebody else from a herpes website actually told me about this group.I got it when I was about 23,about 12 years ago.It gets itchy for about 3 to 4 days and then scabs up.

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. Actually i heard from someone that know someone who met someone who has herpes since 20 years, and survived! Once a year he would get an embarrassing cold sore. But i suggest you to visit your doctor for proper information and help. I also heard of the unfortunate scabs monstrous appearance, which he would get rid of by shaving half of his crotch and put the other side on fire, in order to force all the scabs to run over the shaved side, where he could flick them off... neat trick isn't?
