So I'm trying to get the PERFECT hookah, the type you smoke at upscale hookaah lounges, like $50 a bowl. I've got the perfect technique (20 perfect "O"s in 10 seconds flat), the best hookah tobacco ($25 a fist sized piece), and the near-perfect setup. I've tried about every setup and can't seem to get it perfect, only near-perfect.
Qs
1) How long should I let the tobacco acclimate to the environment? I let it acclimate anywhere from 4 hrs. to 1-2 days.
2) When you let it acclimate, do you leave it in the open, or do you pack it into the bowl? If you pack it into the bowl, do you cover it and turn it upside down? Do you punch holes in the foil?
3) What side of the foil should go down? Shine or Matte?
4) Does the quality of the hookah greatly affect the thickness and quality of the smoke?
5) Whats the best liquid to put in the bottom for the thickest and coolest and smoothest smoke? I've tried everything from gatorade, redbull, alcohol, milk(yucK) etc?
6) Best Hole Pattern?
Thanks a lot

1-i usually don't let it acclimate cuz i have a box of tabacco that i always use..and we get a good smoke.
2-yeahhh..
3-either side works, it doesn't make that much of a difference
4-well yeah, you have to make sure that everything fits tightly and well, loose parts=not as good of a smoke
5-put water with a LITTLE bit of milk. and then put ice. if you only put a little bit of milk, you shouldn't be able to taste it. don't put too much or it will clog your hose...if you put alcohol, it'll hit you reallly hard.
6-you know how there's holes at the bottom of the head? well try to match up those holes with the holes you make in the foil and then and a couple extra little ones. not too many or your tobacco will burn easily.

hope that helped.
