What do yo mean by testing positive for HPV but your cells are normal? What kind of test did you get? Pap smears test for atypical cervicular cellular changes, which can be caused by HPV. Did you get a lab test to look for HPV DNA, or did your doctor find warts during a clinical exam>
Anything you do or take to boost your immune system will help your body fight off the virus. This included a healthy diet, exercise, and vitamin C. Most cases of HPV clear on their own.
Okay, if you got a strain from your boyfriend, and tested negative for it 6 months later, that means your body developed immunity to that particular strain. You WILL NOT be reinfected by that particlar strain from your boyfriend. However, if he has another strain that you weren't infected with, or he picks up another one (Really, there's no way to ensure honestly, as much as we'd like to hope) you can be infected with that, as there are over 70 types of HPV.

Okay, I don't have all the answers but I have some...
I was diagnosed with HPV in Dec. of 99. I was pregnant with my son and told that I had it. I was told at the time it was an STD and that I got it from my boyfriend. He was later tested and told he had nothing...Anyway, I had a abnormal pap and they decided to freeze my cells. After that I was a little sore but okay...every since then I have been fine, haven't had any outbreaks I guess you could say and no more abnormal paps, I believe you can contract it again...however I'm not sure...google it!
But, I have heard there is a shoot and I believe a pill that can be taken.. It always stay's with you whenever I have my annual they ask and let me know that they will do certain test because of it.
Hope this helps...

1. There are certain vitamins that will help your immune system fight viruses of any kind, including HPV
2. Yes you can get reinfected from him anytime you have sex with him, even with a condom, HPV can be contracted even through a rubber.
The good news is, that HPV is pretty much harmless and goes away (dormat) on it's own. It CAN lead to cervical cancer in women, but is rare. Overall, HPV is nothing to really worry about.

I got identified with genital herpes (type 2) about five yrs ago, when I was still attending college and had a foolish one-night stand. I know a lot of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone who has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/dxxGJ everything got better.
Not only was I able to clear away all remnants of the hsv from my body in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This system provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love again. Now I want to help others too by sharing this story.
