Okay so I did something incredibly stupid. I gave my boyfriend unprotected oral sex. I totally freaked out after becuase id idn't want to tog that far and we both agreed we're going to wait on that. I have never had sex or oral sex with anyone else, but my boyfriend has had sex with a girl when he was much younger and it was about 6 years ago. He doesn't think he has any STD's, but I'm scared to death I'm going to get one sicne I know of them don't show symptoms. He has never been tested and obviously I haven't either and I really could not bring myself to tell my mother I want to get tested and I deffinately don't want her knowing.I'm scared becuase it's been about 4 days and my kind of throat hurts which could be a sign of gonorhea? Or am I being paranoid? He did not come in my mouth and and was literally probably about a minuete or two tops.

You and your boyfriend need to get tested regularly. That's an important part of having a healthy, RESPONSIBLE sex life.

You can both go to a public health clinic for testing. It's usually free, and the phone number is in the phonebook. Make a date of it since you are already sexually active together (yes, oral sex counts as sexual activity). You can probably get flavored condoms while you're there.

Four days is about the right incubation for gonorrhea. See if the sore throat goes away. If it doesn't, or if you get a fever, then tell you mom you have a sore throat (you don't need to mention why -- save that for the doctor), and go to the doctor for a throat culture and meds.

Why don't you just calm down.. You sound as if you were never meant to die or something.. We all die someday, and we all catch something sooner or later - SO RELAX.. Almost everyone out there has some form of HPV - so plan on getting that. Condoms won't even protect from HPV. Also, if you caught gonorrhea.. That is the least of the STC's to worry about. Because gonorrhea is a bacteria - its easily killed off with a few pills of Ofloxacin

Do calm down. It is unlikely you have anything. Most likely had he contracted gonorrhea from his previous encounter he would have had symptoms a long time ago
