Chlamydia is almost four times more common than gonorrhea. HOWEVER, the kinds of behaviors that get a person infected with chlamydia are the same behaviors that result in gonorrhea.

So if you had a tendency to not use condoms, had multiple partners, or have a cheating partner, AND you wound up with chlamydia, then chances are pretty strong that you can get gonorrhea too. Double infection of chlamydia and gonorrhea is pretty common.

In short, if you compare a person with chlamydia to a person without chlamydia, the person WITH chlamydia is MUCH MORE LIKELY to get gonorrhea than the person who doesn't have chlamydia.
