Very rarely, usually during the mornings, I find that I have to breathe really hard and fast though I'm not exercising. I also feel a sort of strain in my chest that sort of fades after each breath.

Is this normal?

There are a few possible conditions, and yes, go to the doctor, many of them could be dangerous if not dealt with soon.

It could always be stress or fear. Emotions can do that to you as well.

But it's best to see a doctor.

this is not normall or random neither. but it could be some thing wrong with your heart or your chest. the way can help you, you must not stay in the small room and should not be in the very hot place or smokes. keep yourself in the place which is no dust, and good condition so you can breathe the oxygen in to your lung, then it will be better and better. when you go to sleep mustn't sleep up side down because your lung not working properly.

Don't let it go. See a doctor. It's best to catch things early...if there is anything going on.
