I'm really tired all the time and i smell alcholon my bearth?

I work night but .I'm really tired all the time . I get up and I can go back to bed. I been smell alchol on my bearth and I don't drink.I get my sugar check all the time doc said it's fine. my mom and dad where diabetes

My mother took 20cc 2 times a day. My father took 30cc 3 times .They both die from it

Are you in going into a coma right now? How about some complete sentences and correct spelling? Does your breath smell 'fruity'? That would be from ketones building up in your blood. There are two main reasons someone would go into ketoacidosis and a third possibility as well.
1. You are a diabetic and your body can't use glucose for enengy, so it breaks down fat for energy. you would also be thirsty all the time, pee all the time (once your blood glucose is above 240 or so, the kidneys let glucose through to pee it out) and have really high blood glucose.
2. Alcohol withdrawl. Your body is starving for energy there is no glucose left so your body is metabolizing fats. This would probably make you feel tired all the time and diminish your word processing skills, since your brain need glucose to survive. It doesn't do so well with ketones though, although your heart is perfectly happy eating up ketones for energy.
3. You have been on the Atkins diet and aren't eating any carbohydrates.

A person's body has a fairly limited stores of carbohydrates in the liver and skeketal muscles for energy (glucose) and when it's gone, your body wants more, if you aren't feeding your body sugar, then it goes through an energy expensive process to turn fat into glucose.
So either you don't have glucose and can't use it, or you're a diabetic and have glucose but your body doesn't have a way of getting it into the cells. By the way what type of diabetics are/were your parents? Since you said your blood glucose levels are okay and you check them all the time at the doctor's office (which I am skeptical of), you must be malnourished for some reason.


20cc of insulin??? Do you know how many units of insulin that is? that's a heck of a lot of insulin, I seriously doubt you are telling the truth, or if you are, you don't know what you are saying. Regular insulin or another type?

I would certainly contact your doctor or see another doctor if you are that worried. Some type of rare blood diesease go to an endocronolgist! However, if they have done several blood sugar tests then you may not have it but something. Voice your concern it is your body and you know best! Noone person her qualified or not can really tell you what is wrong with out seeing you and questioning all your symptoms etc.

You need to see a health professional. It doesn't sound like diabetes, but it does sound very serious. It could be hypoglycemia, a condition which is characterized by excessively low blood sugar levels. Get yourself into some kind of treatment. Call your doctor's office. Maybe look into switching doctors, even.

Try several doctors if you can and check symptoms online like webmd or just google. That's pretty weird condition and it could be rare disease doctors routinely misdiagnose. Or ask your doc to explain exactly what's causing that smell. If he can't say for sure why then it might be good to find someone who can.

If you honestly don't drink alcohol then it is diabetes.... Your doctor is a moron and you should get the opinion of another doctor.
