twice. Morning and 5pm. Dont eat after 6pm. When u eat, eat little. Avoid carb like rice and bread. If u need rice, just eat no more than 2 tbsp. Eat lots of vegetables, steamed fish/grill. Nothing fried. Cut off sugar intake coz u have enough sugar in your food. Cut off salt, salt slows down fat burning.

Eat 3 to 4 small, balanced meals a day. To lose weight, the key is to stop snacking on junk food (choose fruits instead) and to have a good exercise plan (at least 45 min. 4 times a week)

It's not as much about how many times you eat as about what you eat. Instead of grabbing a chocolate bar grab a banana. You should try aerobic excersizes with that. if you eat once in the morning heavily, until you are very full and once lightly around 5 hours later, your digestive system will be more relaxed. it takes about 5 hours for your food to digest, and if you eat inbetween the food you ate before will go back and redigest. nasty...but if you eat less calories than you normally intake then you should lose weight. so again not how many times you eat, but what you eat.

You need to eat every 3 hours but servings should be moderate at lunch and dinner. This is to prevent your metabolism to slow down. If your metabolism slows down your body 'switches off' to deal with the lack of 'fuel'. So the idea of skipping meals to lose weight is completely wrong. Our body needs to have some fuel in order to be able to operate basic functions - walking, reading etc ... Make sure to include some Omega 3 fats which are contained in sardines, tuna, anchovies - as these are essential for concentration (O3 is needed by our brain). Also, it's very important that you choose the right food - avoid processed food (supermarket's ready meal and fast food), as such foods do not have much nutritional value. Another suggestion is avoid 'drinking' calories (sodas, juices etc).

I eat 6 to 8 times as day and maintain a very slim figure. Of course these 6 to 8 times is NOT very big amounts of food.
Really all that matters is how much you take in. Lower your intake and the weight will come off.

dieting cant be effective if enforced with out a proper understanding of the needs of the body and with out knowing if it is your body or the mental craving that is trigerring your hunger.. you can learn to manage / control your craving for food by practising yoga and meditation.. one should not eat when not hungry and avoid eating for pleasure, it helps to remember that we eat to live and not live to eat! eat light at night, avoid junk food and snacking between meals, consume fresh friuts and fruit juices and salads with your regular food, dont drink water immediately before and after food and exercise regularly but dont over do any thing.. good luck
