It's when after you've moved into your apartment you hold a party just to let your friends check out your place and meet some new people in your apartment complex. It's held usually within a week or two of moving in. Nothing is really "done," its just a normal party. I don't know if its a new or old concept but either way its fun! If you are the new apartment person, you really ought to hold one!

Housewarming parties are usually hosted by those who just purchased a home to invite friends and family to see the new place and celebrate the new home. The host serves food and drinks just like any other party. Generally, if the home is being rented, it's not really an occasion to host this kind of party.

It's held after you've settled in and gotten everything arranged. Food, drinks, music and/or a movie. It's just a chance to show friends your new digs. And another chance for a get-together and see friendly faces.

The same thing as a house-warming party. Only in a smaller setting :)

it's where a group of people attend a party in an apartment, then someone drops the temperature of the apartment, and everyone must strip down to their thongs and huddle together to stay warm using each other's body heat.
