Normal Blood pressure is a systolic (upper number) of 110 to 130. A diastolic (lower number) of 60 to 88. These are the normal ranges. Normal pulse rate is 60 to 100. Anything over 100 is considered abnormal.

Since your are asking in the diabetes section, I'm going to assume you have diabetes, and give you some more information related to the diabetic situation--first, garlic has a good effect on blood pressure. Now--

I realize that conventional health care is necessary and appropriate. That having been said, there are also many things WE can do to overcome type II diabetes, and improve life as a Type I diabetic. I've been researching alternative medicine, and the amount of help that's available to diabetics is amazing.

Natural remedies are quite effective, and include:

Cinnamon
Bitter Melon
Gymnema Sylvestre
Nopal cactus
American Ginseng
Fenugreek
Chromium picolinate

Cinnamon regulates glucose, and has a polyphenol compound called MHCP that mimics insulin and activates cell receptor sites. A quarter teaspoon twice daily makes a difference. Fenugreek increases blood flow and inhibits the growth of infectious organisms. Everything on the list has a use in fighting diabetes. Learn how to use these herbs and don't fall victim to diabetes needlessly. You can find out about about them on line, or in a book I read cover to cover--

"One Son's Quest for the Cause and Cure of Diabetes", ISBN 7890766313

The author, a doctor, lost his mother to diabetes and spent the next 20 years finding a way to overcome it. My brother was dying of diabetes, and I was just starting to need insulin when we came across this definitive work which came out in February 2005. We both lead mostly normal lives now. It's a life saver, and the best money you'll ever spend on the subject if you decide to go that way.
You might want to check Abe Books, Alibri's, or Amazon.com for a good used copy cheap. I bought mine new, and I think it was about $35. I don't get any money from anybody for telling you this--just want to help, and the techniques in this book is what made the difference for me and mine. Best of luck.

Just recently found this 8-minute non-profit video http://www.rawfor30days.com/view.html , about diabetes diet. Click on the link, then click 'View Windows Media' to watch it.You'll be glad you saw it.

the systolic range (120) wouldn't hurt to be a little lower... the diastolic (60) is very good... heart rate (pulse) 60-70 is perfecto... anything in the range of
120/75 or lower is the preferred blood pressure~~~
note: if BP goes down lower than that while exercising that would be an indicator of a coronary problem~~~

Medical guidelines state that a normal blood pressure for most adults is less than 120/80 mm Hg. Drug treatment is recommended if your blood pressure is at or above 140/90 mm Hg. For people with diabetes or chronic kidney disease, drug treatment is recommended for a blood pressure level of 130/80 mm Hg or higher.

The normal pulse for healthy adults ranges from 60 to 100 beats per minute. The pulse rate may fluctuate and increase with exercise, illness, injury, and emotions.

A pulse of 68 per minute is very healthy for a female of twenty-one. You can get palpitations from low blood pressure and/or anaemia, where you are aware of how fast your heart is beating, and this can be accompanied by fainting and dizziness. But palpitations can also be brought on by anxiety, which is what you seem to have over your health. The best way to put your mind at ease would be to arrange a visit to the doctor to check your blood pressure. Some chemists even offer this service.

normal blood pressure is below 120 for the systolic pressure and below 80 for the diastolic pressure (systolic --->120/80<---diastolic). the normal heart or pulse rate is between 60 to 100 beats per minute (bpm) depending on the activity done prior to the time of checking.

Normal BP is debatable, normal is 120/80 or 110/70.
Yes that is quite possible in athletes.
