I haven't. In fact, I've been healthier since being diagnosed and treated with metformin than I was for a long time. That's a good question for your physician or diabetes educator. Could you be experiencing the feeling of chills because of the diabetes itself? I know several diabetics who find themselves feeling warmer or colder than others who have been told it's just part of the illness. Be sure to check, don't take just anyone's opinion. A good website for you is dLife.com. It's part of the Sunday night dLife program on CNBC. I find it very encouraging and helpful.

I agree with Jeanne. Since I started metformin I have been a lot healthier and feeling human again! The only side effects I have had from them was at first...I got quite a bit of stomach wind...burping a lot! :)
