No..a Cornish hen is a type of chicken and a quail is another bird all together. I'm not sure what this has to do with vegetarianism though...

No, cornish hens are small chickens. a quail is a different species. Quail are also about 1/2 the size and all dark meat.

Absolutely not! Rock cornish hens are much larger than quail. It takes at least 3 quAIL TO FEED 1 PERSON GENEROUSLY, A CORNISH hen is considered a serving unto itself. Allow 1 hen per person. Also, quail are considered a game ITEM AND CORNISH HENS ARE RAISED IN BROILER HOUSE.

No, the cornish hen is a bigger bird and they taste different although I can't describe it. The quail seems like more white meat to me.
