Possible, but highly unlikely.
Genital herpes and HPV (the virus that causes genital warts) are usually spread by sex (vaginal, oral and anal) and can also be spread by DIRECT skin to skin contact with the infected area (like "dry humping").
A person can also be born with either virus, but this is REALLY rare.
Genital herpes and HPV is almost always spread by some sort of sexual contact.

Genital warts are caused by a virus called the Human Papilloma Virus. The warts can be removed, but the person will have the virus for the rest of their life. It is very common for the warts to reappear after they have been removed. This disease is spread by coming in contact with the wart, but often the warts can not be seen. Genital warts can have very different appearances.
The warts can be removed, but there is no cure for this disease! Using a condom will not prevent transmission of the virus, if it does not completely cover the warts.
Herpes is caused by a virus. There are two types, Herpes Simplex Virus-1 and Herpes Simplex Virus-2. You can get both types by having sex or skin to skin contact without having sex. The symptom of both types of herpes is a group of small sores or blisters that hurt. Sometimes the sores cannot be seen. Herpes is usually spread by coming in contact with the sores. Sometimes herpes can be spread even when the sores are gone. Medicine can be given to make the sores go away faster, but the person will have the virus the rest of their life.
Sometimes a person will have an outbreak of sores on a regular basis.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed https://tr.im/TreatmentsHerpes2015kROT
Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams. This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

Herpes is a virus and if you are in contact with it you can get it. It is thought at this time that you only have to be in touch or direct contact with it to get it. It used to be thought that it had to be active, actual break outs of it for it to be contagious, not anymore. So, they really are finding out more and more about it. Also, they say now that more young women, really young like 12-17 yr. old's have the HPV virus which is transmitted by the herpes virus. They now have a vaccine which they say MAY prevent someone from getting the HPV virus but they are having problems with it and I'm not up on the very latest on side effects they are talking about. But, kissing someone with herpes, oral sex and any contact can transmit the virus. I guess it depends on what a person thinks of as sex. If it's intercourse only....probably not. If it's kissing, fondling and oral sex, yes. Good luck

Genital warts are carried by the Herpes virus, which is the same as the cold sore virus. You can contract genital warts from oral-genital contact with someone who has cold sores.
