Pregnancy is possible without actual sex. Health experts say not knowing the technicalities of safe sex and thinking you are safe, increases the risk of giving birth to ‘birth control’ babies. So, know more about what causes pregnancy and what can avoid it.

To understand the reasons for pregnancy you need to understand the function of the fertile mucus. Fertile mucus exists in a woman’s body for 5-6 days before ovulation. The cervix produces it as the ova ripen. This mucus flows down the vagina to the vulva. That much about fertile mucus.
Another important part of fertilization is the vaginal canal, which is acidic in nature. Interestingly, the semen is alkaline. Sperm would die in an acidic environment. But the fertile mucus we discussed before, being alkaline, protects and helps the sperm in its journey to the egg.

Sperm is present in the Cowper’s fluid produced by Cowper’s gland, a tiny gland in penis. So that means, when all is going well, even without ejaculation during sexual intercourse, this fluid leaks out into the vagina. So pregnancy is still possible.

Sperm leaking without ejaculation is the main reason why withdrawal of penis before ejaculation cannot avoid pregnancy. Another reason is – there are chances that even a single drop of semen may leak out before withdrawal. This drop is enough to cause pregnancy as it contains millions of sperm.

So, penetration of penis inside the vagina is not a necessity for pregnancy. Even the release of single drop of semen allows the sperm to run and fertilize the ovum.

The best possible way to avoid pregnancy is avoiding genital contact. And, condom is a less expensive and more effective birth control tool. So use condom and do whatever you want. Best of luck!

Yes, but only with invitro-fertilization. A lab inseminates the egg in a petri dish and then inserts the embryo into a woman's uterus. Except for immaculate conception, that's the only way to get pregnant without having sex.

If you do the invitro fertalization, yes. But that requires medical asistance of a doctor, and you gotta go to a special place called the sperm bank. Why do you ask?

Hope that helps,

Not unless you are inseminated somehow. If you really need to ask this question maybe you shouldn't be having sex.
