It is way better. It is far tastier and more nutritious than meat . Once you go green you'll never go back. Trust me I'm a vegan and it's fabulous!!

one style of eating is not necessarily better than another. It also depends on what U mean by better! It is better for the animals.. more get to live because of vegetarianism and veganism.
Also U have to have a better knowledge of food
to be a successful Vegetarian or Vegan! Some say they tried but it didn't work..well I say to that they haven't really tried cause their heart wasn't really into the idea of vegetarianism. If You think
something isn't going to work then of course it won't unless you're extremely lucky. Vegetarian food can taste better than meat foods if U make it yourself and be innovative about it! What I think tastes better you might disagree! My vegetarian cooking is better than any meat I cook! Although I am a vegetarian at times I do cook meat as I am a cook! I just don't eat the meat dishes.. not even taste them have to rely on smell with those!

Some points to consider -

- Vegetarian is more ethical to animals
- As per Medical Research Council of UK, vegetarianism is associated with lower cholesterol and blood pressure and with decreased risks of obesity and coronary heart disease.
- Humans are physiologically more suited to be a herbivour rather than carnivours, lacking the teeth, mouths and nails of carnivours, possessing longer intestines like other herbivours like cows, elephants, apes
- It cost more to purchase meat than it does to buy vegetarian foods

However, in switching to a venetarian diet, adequate care has to be taken that all vitamins, minerals, iron, etc. are added to the vegetarian diet (legumes, plants, nuts, dairy, whole grains, soyabeans, etc.) to counter possible deficiencies.

You need not look at becoming a total vegetarian, but a lacto-ovo one as an option.

There are many benefits to a diet containing meat. Many vegetarians claim that meat is unhealthy. This is a blatant fallacy.
It is well established that eating meat improves the quality of nutrition, strengthens the immune system, promotes normal growth and development, is beneficial for day-to-day health, energy and well-being, and helps ensure optimal learning and academic performance.
A long term study found that children who eat more meat are less likely to have deficiencies than those who eat little or no meat. Kids who don’t eat meat — and especially if they restrict other foods, as many girls are doing — are more likely to feel tired, apathetic, unable to concentrate, are sick more often, more frequently depressed, and are the most likely to be malnourished and have stunted growth. Meat and other animal-source foods are the building blocks of healthy growth that have made America’s and Europe's youngsters the tallest, strongest and healthiest in the world.
Meat is an important source of quality nutrients, heme iron, protein, zinc and B-complex vitamins. It provides high-quality protein important for kids’ healthy growth and development.
The iron in meat (heme iron) is of high quality and well absorbed by the body, unlike nonheme iron from plants which is not well absorbed. More than 90 percent of iron consumed may be wasted when taken without some heme iron from animal sources. Substances found to inhibit nonheme iron absorption include phytates in cereals, nuts and legumes, and polyphenolics in vegetables. Symptoms of iron deficiency include fatigue, headache, irritability and decreased work performance. For young children, it can lead to impairment in general intelligence, language, motor performance and school readiness. Girls especially need iron after puberty due to blood losses, or if pregnant. Yet studies show 75 percent of teenage girls get less iron than recommended.
Meat, poultry and eggs are also good sources of absorbable zinc, a trace mineral vital for strengthening the immune system and normal growth. Deficiencies link to decreased attention, poorer problem solving and short-term memory, weakened immune system, and the inability to fight infection. While nuts and legumes contain zinc, plant fibre contains phytates that bind it into a nonabsorbable compound.
Found almost exclusively in animal products, Vitamin B12 is necessary for forming new cells. A deficiency can cause anaemia and permanent nerve damage and paralysis. The Vitimin B12 in plants isn't even bioavailable, meaning our body can't use it.
Why not buy food supplements to replace missing vitamins and minerals? Some people believe they can fill those gaps with pills, but they may be fooling themselves. Research consistently shows that real foods in a balanced diet are far superior to trying to make up deficiencies with supplements.

Vegetarian food is more better then non-vegetarian food but your diet should be balance, in some cases non-vegetarian food you need.
the non-vegetarian is mostly oily, fats and cholesterol and that is not good for your heart.

The secret to healthy eating is balance. From everything I have read, a vegetarian regime is extremely healthy as long as it contains a balanced varied diet. Vegetarians have less heart attacks and strokes, and tend not to be obese: therefore the facts speak for themselves.

Vegetarian food is better because you can offer it to God and have it purified. This is the only way to have a karma free meal. Otherwise "you are eating only sin." and will have to accept the punishment that comes from killing animals and plants. Plus it makes you feel better, look better and smell better. You look younger & feel more energy. It is what our bodies are meant for. We are designed with veggie eaters features. Look at a dog and see what his body is like compared to ours.

His teeth are pointy and sharp, ours are relatively flat. Our molars are for grinding carrots and harder nuts. His intestines are short to pass through the rotting flesh, ours are long. There are links to this rotting meat in our colons and cancer. He has more hydrochloric acid in his stomach to break down the meat he eats, ours is much more alkaline. He sweats through his tongue, we sweat through our skins. He has claws, we have nails. His jaw moves only up and down, ours moves side to side for grinding ruffage like leaves.

You can input any meat eater instead of dog. Try tiger, lion, cat, etc. They all have the same features. They were designed to eat meat, we are not.

I won't even start on the environmental and health implications of all veggie diets! Let's just say the world would not have starvation if we ate all veggies.

It all depends on the portions and balance you take.
If you eat a bit of everything, I naturally think you're fine and there's nothing to worry about.

No just different. Many vegetarians believe their diet is superior, but the truth is meat offers different nutrients than vegetables or grains. All foods are better for you the fresher they are. Don't fall prey to the food fads and trends. We know that we live in a wealthy country when people can spend a lot of time nit picking and debating the most superior diet.
