The HIV virus can not reproduce outside a living host (unlike some bacteria). so theoretically, chances of transmission from a dried up semen specimen is zero.
No one has been identified to have got HIV infection from an environment surface outside body.

I'm a nurse. No because the virus can't live after 8 hours from being out of the body, it won't survive. You are safe, take care.

im not sure i want to know how you get 5 mnth old semen (or seamen- im not sure you could be that old and be a seaman) inside you.......

First of all, where did you get dry, five-month old semen and how did it somehow get into you? Dry,old semen is dead semen and now longer able to pass along any diseases.
