What can i do dealing wth my theme that would be creative?

When are you planning on having it? I didn't get to have a sweet 16 last year because time ran out but this July (when I turn 17) I think I'm going to have the theme I wanted for my sweet 16. Funny my birthday this year is 07/07/07 and I'm turning 17...
But anyway I think that it would be sweet if you had like a Hawaiian theme like a Laiu (or however you spell it :-)) And have everyone wear bathingsuits and leis, etc.
Or you could have like a Black and Pink party and have it at a club or hall and make everything black and pink (I love those two colors together) and just make it sweet...

How about "Wishing on a star" ?
There is a great, pretty song called "i'm wishing on a star..." that you could use. Decorations would be all around a night sky theme- stars, the moon, clouds, etc. Twinkling white lights and deep purple and white flowers.
You definitely want to do a candle lighting ceremony. Pick 16 of themost influential people in your life. Throughout the party, give a speech (short) about each person, calling them up to a decorated table to light a candle. By the end of the night, you have all 16- and the last one is your dad- who you then dance with.
You could give magic wands as favors. Gift bags and centerpieces could all be covered with purple and silver stars.

I believe in Angels ,the song , the music, the theme , clouds feathers light blue tulle and organza draped from the ceiling mini lights wrapped into white tulle. Happy Birthday!

You could add pretty lil convertibles in various make, model and colors(BMW, Mustang, Sky)....innocently dropping a hint to mom and dad. A 16 year old's dream is a car (at least mine was!)

How about Peter Pan theme? You get to pretend you are fighting Hook and get to fly.
