I woke up lastnight with a pain on my heart.. this pain was still prevalent today but much better than lastnight. I went to lie down this afternoon being very tired and the pain is now much worse. Somehow I don't think it is a heart-attack but something else.. could a hernia, an ulcer or something like that be the cause?? I have no medical and would have to go to a Government Hospital in the worst of circumstances should it persist.. It is excruciating painful though

Our wish is that ,as you diagnosed, it is a relatively simple hiatus hernia or some gastric problem.

But to make assurance doubly sure you MUST be seen by a doctor in the ER room (in the circumstances you described).

An impending heart problem should be excluded before one can diagnose any other non-serious problem.

Best Wishes

I sounds like it could be the heart but it could be heartburn. Acid reflux can cause the pain. I would suggest taking some over the counter maalox or another antacid. Also take some prilosec otc which will kick in a day or so. If the liquid stuff doesn't get rid of it then you need to go to a doctor since it could very well be cardiac in nature. Good luck.

You need to see a doctor right away. When it comes to matters of the heart, you need to get medical attention ASAP. Do you have an Emergi Care facility where you can go? In most places like that, you have to sign a paper saying you are responsible for the bill.

You need to go to the hospital right away. It's better not to take any chances. It could be your heart or it may be your gallbladder. Either way, you need medical attention. Good luck.
